Why this information matters
The proposed facility is promised to many different users which likely can not share the track at the same time. A representative weekly schedule is needed to show when each group would have access, which uses could occur simultaneously, and how the promised school and public hours would fit alongside private programs and facility operations.
The Armory reports more than 100 meets each year, while the Birmingham CrossPlex maintains a dense schedule of school, college, club, and championship events. Major meets generally require exclusive use of the track and much of the surrounding facility. Event scheduling could occupy most weekends during the busiest parts of the year, leaving little or no time for ordinary public access.
