Dear Open Records Officer,
Pursuant to the Georgia Open Records Act, I request copies of records concerning the proposed permanent closure, abandonment, vacation, discontinuance, conveyance, or removal from public use of the following street segment:
Ami St between Georgia Ave SE and Little St SE in Summerhill
Please provide responsive records dated January 1, 2025, through the present, including:
- Preliminary inquiries or pre-application discussions concerning the proposed closure
- Emails, correspondence, meeting notes, memoranda, presentations, maps, surveys, site plans, concept plans, or traffic plans
- Communications with Atlanta Track Club
- Any application, petition, draft legislation, ordinance, resolution, departmental recommendation, referral, or internal review concerning the street
This request includes records concerning the proposal even if no formal street-abandonment application or petition has been submitted.
Electronic copies are preferred. If any responsive records are withheld or redacted, please identify the applicable statutory exemption and produce all reasonably segregable portions. If the anticipated cost will exceed $25, please provide an itemized estimate before proceeding.
If ATLDOT is not the custodian of some or all of these records, please identify the office or agency likely to maintain them and, where possible, forward this request to the appropriate custodian.
